I just heard, on American radio, the lyrics...
"The moon shines bright like headlights on the interstate"
That would have to be quite possibly the single worst poetic moon reference ever in the history of the written form.
So much so that I forcibly removed my larynx and frontal lobe areas of my brain by hand, using a rusty pair of pliers, rather than have that reference ever enter my head again or repeat it to anyone vocally.
